Good Morning VFW Ham Family
Looks like Gaylen may not escape from hospital today. While docs say it was not a stroke they are calling this a TIA. His bruises are getting bigger rather than smaller. Not good at all. He posted a picture on the 520 Crew page I believe.
Still he is in good spirits and we continue to text and talk. Last night he got on Echo Link to get on the 52. His voice sounds strong and normal.
Also I sent a message to the QM in order to add him to the post’s sick call list. Wasn’t sure who to give the info too, but since I do have Jerry’s contact info I sent it to him. Yes I could have asked a post member to do it, but I figured better to do it myself and get it done.
I shall continue to update so long as is needed. When he escapes from Wesley they want him to use a walker and also work with physical therapy for a time. Please continue to keep Gaylen in your prayers.
