The VHF contest has been going on since the 1950's. It was started by a group in Syracuse, NY, and at one time I was VP of the Syracuse VHF Club.? Even if you only have 2 meters FM, give these guys a shot at winning the section or even the region. They prepare all year for 2 weekends.?

We have a total of 5 rovers (maybe a 6th!) with 3 rovers with new ICOM-905s - we will be operational 6m through 10ghz!? 2 rovers will have 6m through 23cm. We will primarily use voice (USB and FM) and digital.?
It is acceptable, per the ARRL rules, to coordinate skeds via phone and repeater, just not confirm the contacts over the phone.? Please honor the rules.? All contest contacts must take place without DMR, repeaters, and satellites (except the moon).? However, you can COORDINATE and SKED using these capabilities before the contact¡ just not during and after.?
We will be using the WSJT -> settings -> Advanced tab => ¡°Special operating activity¡± of ¡°NA VHF Contest¡±.??
