Provided are two links, the first link will be to the ARRL article outlining the FCC's new ruling regarding amateur radio operators, and the second link is to the ARRL exposure calculator. The RF Exposure calculator makes easy work of determining the minimum safe distance from antennas that are in use.

I’ve read the literature a couple of times and I didn’t think about at the time but I do not recall any mention of mobile radio applications for vehicles. Does anyone know if we are supposed to carry RF exposure calculations in our vehicles?

My take on it is to just run your readings for all your bands you operate and if you make changes to antenna or new radio redo it so you know where you sit for everyone nearby and just keep a copy on file in case some one makes a complaint.
