I double checked that the gateway is functioning properly and tried to run an auto tune to your station Mike and had no luck. I also tried doing an auto tune to Dans station and had the same results.

Do you get the RX meter in VARA FM to the 1 O'clock position when squelch is open? If not likely settings in the audio levels in windows.

Thanks, but seems like that is how I have the digirig set up already. I had done the drivers. But nothing on the pings or auto tune yet. I'm hooked up to a Yaesu FTM-400. I can hear it transmit. I may

W0AYE-10 is on as I type this. That's the gateway call sign. Your VARA FM program running alone can do the setup. Under settings / soundcard / autotune with W0AYE-10 to have it auto set the transmit

Anyone got a good easy step by step setup. Setting, modem speeds ,ect.... I have a digirig set up trying to go, I can head 145.69, unable to connect for now Thanks, Dan

Here's some screen shots I just took of sending Ben W0AYE an email via Winlink and VARA FM on 145.690 MHz Thruput today was mediocre and still almost 40k byte/min.

There's an old saying that goes something like "once they've seen the lights of the city it's hard to keep the boys on the farm". That's kind of what has happened to me since I started experimenting
