I stumbled upon this group when I was searching for MgF2 coating service suppliers. The whole vacuum coating technology is amazing, I hope I can experiment on this one day.
Here is my question: any members of this group provide a MgF2 coating service? I've got a badly damaged camera lens with various coating damages on internal lens surfaces. Would anybody be interested in coating bare lenses with MgF2 if I prepare (clean, strip, polish) and send them? How much would you charge for lets say 5-6 lenses, and one of them is cemented, would this cause issues?
