Hello

I am trying to install VARA Chat.? My AV keeps blocking it giving me a warning for "Trojan.Gen.MBT" found.? I am using windows 10, and Norton AV online.? I have created exceptions for directory C:\VARA.? The program will install, but when run the AV removes it.

the VARA CHAT program needs to get used more? to get warmed up to AV , but AV is just wrong,
IMO - Switch to Malware bytes free version, or just disable AV for a while. Windows defender it good enough if you are not surfing the unknown and opening attachments from phishing scams.

Happens often. Simply create an exception in your AV program for the vara directory. I am running Win 10 and it's built in AV protection. Good Luck.

I ended up disabling the Norton AV while I am using VARA chat.? Everything works well now ( Use Windows security while running).? Thanks for the responses, they were greatly appreciated.

This is not a big deal, just allow the software to run and mark it safe. Run as administrator.

They really don't look at all the code. kind of a dumb way to really check.? Norton is worst.
Since their aren't? 1,000,000 customers/Hams following, installing first day, it takes a bit for it to look safe to the big guys.
they more its downloaded and deemed safe the more it gets considered safe.
