Yes! I'm using it for Winlink server and it works great. I'm also using the RA25 with a winlink client. I like the flexability of the RA40 because of adjustable Tx & Rx audio. Once set you don't have to mess with it.?

Using an RA-25 with good success.

I avoided the higher models as I was unsure if the additional amplifier stages would add distortion or twist.

Also using the Repeater Builder RIM-Lite Maxtrac edition with great success. I think we’re at 5 or so gateways using those with VARA Wide on CDM-750 radios set for flat audio.

I’ve connected once at level 11, 25,000 bps.

Mostly getting 14,000-19,000 bps.

Yes, the RA-25 would probably work into a data jack. ?Plenty of computer audio output to do that.

I am using the Yaesu 7800 to a Signalink at the moment but the ARES group wants to get to VARA 9600. ??Going to need to find something to upgrade all the ARES radio location to get to VARA ?9600
