As he mentioned, there are several BBS's using VARA HF that are part of the TPRFN group ( ). The frequencies are shown at that site. Besides those, I am aware of the following off the top of my head. (below are the node calls). I'm sure there are others also. Arkansas N9SEO-3 Indiana N9LYA-8, WW6Q-7 Wisconsin KB9PVH-7, W9GM-7 Oregon W7EES-7, W7BMH-7 If you are looking for stations between Quebec and Texas (I assume you are in Texas now or will be very soon), I would send N9SEO, N9LYA, WW6Q, and K7EK (Kentucky) personal packet messages and ask them what frequencies they are listening on. 73, Lee K5DAT

I have it all set up, but working some minor issues still to be worked out. I plan to attempt connecting with KQ6UP, and any others. I know of no others on the west coast, except one I saw mentioned in Oregon.
