William R. Franklin born 1878 in Roanoke Co, son of Joel M. Franklin and Anna T. James. Family referred to him as Reeves but I never been able to find documentation
that the R in his name stands for Reeves. Only docs I have found are one census and his marriage record. Family lore says he died of a disease shortly after his daughter, India Finette Franklin, my grandmother was born. Anyone have info on him? Blessings, Flo.
