Someone using U3 threading attachment?

 

I have a U3 and some of the parts for the threadcutting attachment. But I don't know if? it is worth? searching for the parts I don't have. I can't see any pictures of some U3 with this attachment mounted in the Internet. And no Youtubes either. Is it a attachment someone use? Is it difficult to use? I have seen homemade attachment for threading. Maybe be better, easier? Please give me some advise.
 

Check the Files section here for instructions on how to use the various accessories. There should be diagrams of photographs of the various parts.

I use? ine a fair bit, you have to hand crank it, but otherwise it? isn't difficult to? use,? just set up for the thread? pitch? you? want,? and crank away . There is à drawing I made of all the parts on the files section of the? u3 group. The gears are plastic so could be? 3d ptinted

Hi Peter,? I am interested in this also I have downloaded your files but do you have an image of your parts setup on the U3 and how you use it please.

I know how to use the original attachment. It is not the problem. I just wonder if it is worth spending money to make the attachment complete, I'm missing some parts. Therefore, I ask again, is there someone who use the original threading attachment for U3? And....is it a good solution for treadcutting in U3?
