Does the Unimat DB200 have Imperial threads or Metric
I¡¯m not sure if the DB200 has metric or imperial threads. I think it is imperial but am not sure. I measured the lead screw O.D. and it measures .312¡± which indicates it is imperial. I don¡¯t have a thread micrometer.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Dick: The DB200 is all metric. The lead screws are M8x1 left hand. The small cap screws are M6 and the spindle is M12x1. 0.312" is equal to 7.92mm or M8. Carl. On 12/26/2024 3:56 PM, OldToolmaker via

I found I have a tap and die for the Unimat DB200 lead screw. The thread is M8 x 1.

Thank you, Carl.
We are on the same page now and I found my Unimat Tap and Die.
I wanted to make some larger dials and that requires engraving on the dials. I can move forward now.
