If you use the optivisor then take a look at the Quasar Lighting System. It fits over the front of the lens plate & has a LEDs top & bottom on each end & the centre. It gets rid of shadows very well.

Hi Gang: At a hydro electric dam they use wedges of Lignum Vitae for the main shaft bearings. As it slowly wears they just push the wedges farther in. It was cool, the shaft only turns about 12 RPM

Hi Gang: I think this tapper takes rubber flex collets. I don't see any included, but I'm sure you could make substitute collets. Even with shipping, not a bad price, if the bid doesn't go too high.
