Can the Unimat DB/SL forum be separated from the Unimat 3 Forum? Even though all are technically Unimats it is sometimes difficult to follow as the discussion is mixed together. Just wondering! Dick

Oh and while I was "at it" I bored out the the bushing of the carriage threaded rod in the headstock and fitted a new bush. The bush can just be seen in tha above photo to the left.

Adding the drive required making a new end plate (thicker to act as a bearing) and a new stub shaft with the long fork and groves. It all worked as designed (being a "fair" copy of an earlier design).
