2. I have Weather Display creating the WXNOW.TXT file in the APRS setup menu, I have set that location in UI View, and... nothing is happening, and I missing a checkbox someplace?
ANy help would be great no one around my area has any idea.

Roger Barker G4IDE, the author of UIview, died abruptly of cancer in later 2004.? At his request from his deathbed, the source code for the program was destroyed, making updates impossible.
The UIview program is an "orphan" frozen in time as of? 14 April 2004 during the "Windows XP era". This is long before Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10 appeared.?? UIview can be made to run under Windows 7 and later, but it is NOT a mindless "just run "Setup" and accept the defaults offered.?? Numerous changes that need to be made after the initial install are detailed in my notes.
There are no "New Maps" available.?? However there are various ways to create maps for UIview.? Some are detailed in my write-up.
