The registration "magic number" is based on a hash of your name and callsign.? Both have to match EXACTLY.
if your callsign changed, or you entered a different form of your name (i.e. Burt vs Burton) the number won't unlock the program.
That being said, the UIview registration code is not a single-use code (like the key for a Microsoft Windows install for example). I have done DOZENS of installs of UIview using my call, name, and reg code.
When you said "Put in my old reg code",?? is this a new installation on a different computer??? Is it a new Win 10 or 11 computer???? You shouldn't have to re-enter the code on an existing install, even if the program hasn't been used for some time.
