I want to be able to filter out all incoming internet stations. This isfor a test of my HF station. What should the filter look like. Any ideas? Put nothing in the filter expression "Text to send on connection" box? in "Setup", APRS Server Setup".?? The filter port, by default, sends nothing unless you specifically request it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stephen H. This is the link for the current filter guide
I would start with "m/300" so only APRS stations, objects, mobiles, et al within a 300 mi (or is it km) appear on your UIVIEW map being used. This will take a lot of strain off the APRS-IS and your system instead of streaming the entire APRS world into your computer! You can use compound filters to narrow down your focus of interest. Mobiles only etc. 73, Robert, VA3ROM |
