I have an interesting problem here- My station does not always report the weather data all the time.


I am using my computer to act as an I-Gate and an weather reporting station. Usually works well most of the time. I say most because sometimes it stops sending data. To make it go again I have to access the "WX Station Setup" under "Setup" , then click the "ok" button, and it starts again.


I am using a Peet Bros station, and using "WeatherText Tools" to read the wx station and then create an text string that I have told Ui-View to read. The file it creates is "C:\WeatherText Tools\aprs\wttaprs.txt". I know the data is there all the time because I have verified the file and contents.
Has this happened to anybody else, and what was the fix?

I want to make this as reliable as it can be without me having to "fix" it all the time.

I know you said that the file exists, but how many minutes do you have the maximum age set for in the WX Station Setup? The next time you catch it not sending, look at the date stamp in the file and see if it's older than the maximum age you have it set for.
