Because I am in such a remote location, I would like to add weather to my APRS and also do CWOPS reports. I know that the Peet Brothers and Davis weather stations are "APRS ready" but they would also put quite a dent in my meager budget for ham radio related toys.

Has anyone had any success with using one of the less expensive weather stations such as Accurite, to compile data that UIView32 can use? I know that there's a specific format and I am wondering if any of these less expensive programs have software that's flexible enough to format it as such.

While it would be nice to have UI-View handle the weather station, you might want to take a look at the ADS-WS1 weather station from Argent Data. They are quite low priced.
