UI-Path ScreenShots on WEB
Ev Tupis (W2EV)
Some of the map generated by UI-Path can be seen at the followingOk, Andy... You just *had* to post this information, didn't you? :o) I was about to scrap UI-View and UI-Path because I couldn't get it to work on my computer, and then you go and post some screen shots. I *must* get it to work now. :o) To help me to understand a bit (and help me to troubleshoot), would you describe for me the purpose of UI-Path.ini and the variables that it contains? Why: Callsign XXXXX XXXXX Are there any other variables that it will accept? Warmly, Ev, W2Ev -- PropNET: A digital wireless data network designed to plot band openings in near real-time. The ini file has no significance as for as im concerned. The file was a solution G6HIB found to make it work on his system. UI-Path should and does! work without a ini file if run from the \ui-view directory. If still no joy mail us back and I will switch the error checking off at the start and see if it works on your system (Last resort!) assuming the error is generetaed by some eroneous error. 73 - Andy, G7OCW ----- Original Message -----

That INI file sounds very much like the one you needed to create for the late G8PMT's UI-MH add-on. It's just possible that DDE doesn't work on Ev's PC. I've only ever seen it happen a couple of times, as a result of a wrong version of DDEML.DLL finding its way onto the PC. -- Roger Barker, G4IDE roger@... Boston Lincolnshire, UK |
