Well after extensive key bashing and a few choosen words not to be found in the dictionary
i am still at a loss as to connecting via my LAN
can anyone give a blow by blow account on wot needs to be done
i have at present 4 machines all networked via network cards using a 5 port hub
the first machine is a pent 133used for inet the second is a pent 300 which i use for packet
the 3rd machine is a p3-500 which is the wifes machine (not used for packet or ui-view)
the 4th is a p233 laptop whice is used for uiview
i have up to press had no problems getting all the machines to talk with each other using the LAN transfering files etc
but i am sure were i am falling over is the tcp-ip bit which i dont fully understand
so can someone give my advice on what needs to be done please !!!!!
