We periodically get a wind chill temperature reported which is higher than
the air temperature. Has anyone else noticed this? ====================================================================== Alan Strong Laboratory Superintendent Tel +44 1904 432366 Department of Electronics Fax +44 1904 433247 University of York Vodapage 01 459 510730 Heslington, York Mobile 0850 295928 YO10 5DD Packet Radio BBS G3WXI @GB7CYM.#19.GBR ====================================================================== |

So, if it's calm, the wind chill can be higher. Also, I'm not sure what formula the WM918 uses for its internal wind chill calculation. My latest software is now calculating wind chill in the program, based on the average wind speed over the past two minutes, and a formula which is commonly used for wind chill calculation. -- Roger Barker, G4IDE roger@...
