Hi All, So to kick us off, I figured an intro topic would be a nice start. I have now completed the program, and I have learned a lot thru the last year. I live ioutside of portland, except during winter, when I am in argentina! I spent my career in IT, and retired 3 years ago. Which started my journey into winemaking. I have spent many years enjoying DRINKING wine, and I have spent some time making beer, (which was much more consistent with my "Instant Gratification" lifestyle. I found a vineyard on a farm in Argentina, outside of San Rafael in Mendoza area. It has about 12 acres of Malbec grapes, and I am currently going thru my first harvest! Anywhoo.... Thats me! Allan
