Wor Lard

开云体育

Hi All,

The sixth installment of Wor Lard will be on April 25th (once again the

Saturday after Salute).

Rich Clarke has confirmed his attendance and although he hasn't
definitely said what game he's bringing, I think it will be something
with the initials II! I'll be confirming other games in the near future.

Unfortunately, after discussions with the club committee, I will have to
charge an attendance fee of ?5 this year (arrangements for paying it, to
be confirmed shortly). Refreshments will be put on as usual and it will
still be free if you bring a game.

Anyone interested in attending just drop me a line.

Cheers,
Jim

I’ll be there again if all is well at home. My wife was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour last June so I’ve no idea where we will be with that.?

I think the charge is fine. Most Lardy days do it to help cover costs.?

Cheers
Matt Slade

Hi Matt,

I had heard, but I didn't realise it was that bad. Please give Debs my best.

I'll hold a place open for you.

Cheers,

Hi Jim
I’m from Rhyl, on the Clwyd Estuary.
That’s 302 miles or 3.75 hours each way.
I’m sorry I just couldn’t do that in one day with safety.

Pah!

I'm from Perth, Western Australia (14,573 km/9,055 miles) and I've just signed up to be there among the Lard glitterati.
