Typical table size(s) for IABSM 3?

Newbie questions to follow. First I couldn't find except in the "roll your own scenarios" is any table size mentioned. There it mentions a 5 foot x 6 foot footprint for a possible table. So what works for you? Infantry only and vehicles rich as I assume vehicles will require somewhat more space. Thank you.

I have had this discussion before with the TFL folks as yes, some of the scenario books don't mention a size.
-If you see a grid, then assume these are 12-inch by 12-inch.
-with no grid, I like to use a ruler to get a sense of the relative length of the "long-side" and the "short-side"
For example, if you measure on the paper printout from the scenario, that one side is 4 inches long and the other side is 6 inches long, then presto!? there is your 4 foot by 6 foot table.

I would not sweat it too much. The maps are very impressionistic so do what works for you with the gaming tables/plywood/foam pieces you have.

It also depends a lot on the scale of the minis you use. 28mm minis need a lot more space than 15mm, and some folks even use 6mm... As far as I remember, the assumed base scale is 15mm.

You may be confusing IABSM with ChoC.?
The ground scale for IABSM is about equivalent to 6mm figures. One foot equals 80 yards or 1:240.

I agree. CoC has a ground scale of 1:120 (40 yards to the foot), or near enough exactly 15mm. IABSM is double that at 1:240, or about 7.5mm, which is pretty close to 6mm (especially given most 6mm figures are on the tall side!).
