IABSM - Blinds

To anyone who has played solo, do you still use blinds? I thought I read somewhere that blinds aren't really necessary when running IABSM solo.?

You still need to keep track of what is on a blind, and what is not, because stuff on blinds is not spotted and cannot be shot at.
Also, if you are the attacker, you can surprise yourself by randomising what is assigned?to each blind.
There's a system in 'Platoon forward' for using blinds to provide surprises for the solo gamer.

I do, although I've experimented with deploying units and placing a blind with them to track who has been spotted :)

I find that blinds help me A) to get troops into action faster and thus speed up the start of the game and B) cause some fog of war because I am unable to remember exactly which blind is which. :-)
