William and I just played a small game of Coastal Patrol last night via texting and it worked great.? With its layers of blinds and players ability to keep track of their damage separately it is a perfect simulation for isolation gaming.? The scenario involved Soviet MTBs and gunboats trying to get through a German picket force of 2 armed trawlers and a R boate.? The Russians succeeded and even managed to kill the R boate CO as they exited the table.? We each had no idea what the other player had or their crew quality throughout the game.? We plan on trying some other scenarios in the Baltic soon.
