Hi Everyone:
I have looked for the Algy rules and finally ordered the Summer 09 version from the TFL website, thinking this was a complete ruleset. It may be complete, but I am not sure. There are no cards, which I believe drives the game. What ever happened to these rules? Are there any cards to download? I cannot find any in the Files. I have wanted to play these for sometime, but they seem to be out of print. Any suggestions?? |

开云体育Aahh, Algy. One of my favourite TFL games. To be honest Algy was never really in print. Version 1 was based on BTH, then you had Hexless-Algy where Rich was developing a mechanism so you didn't need a hex-mat to play it on. I believe it's one of a number of rules due out at Easter. “Algy Flies Again” also known as “What a Fokker”, a hexless version, was in development last summer when I had a few socially distanced garden games with Rich. The basic mechanisms were in place and it would have then been a case of fine tuning. However repeated lockdowns have paused the process.
I suspect that when we return to a more normal way of life then WAF will return but as you may guess, there is quite a backlog on Lard Island to do! It may therefore be ready by “Easter” - just not sure which one! Don |

Try contacting Rich and see if he still has the rules and if he would send you a copy. If he doesn't, I have them and could send them to you with
Rich's permission. I also have some of the files that pertained to Algy.

Ah very good of you indeed! I have the 09 Summer Special, which has what I think are updated rules. No cards though. Are these the rules you mean? And I have downloaded a file "Algy Custom Cards" but it is not clicking just how they work. So I am thinking I do not have the complete picture. Much thanks!

I have the original Algy rules PDF. IIRC the 09 ones were quick play or something like that.?
