Well, I¡¯ve been stripping varnish off, not figures, but a Victorian staircase. It¡¯s a swine of a job. Dusty, labour-intensive, and there¡¯s a whole range of bad ways to do it. Along with that; today, I¡¯ve cleaned out both ovens, made a cheesecake, taken the dogs for their stroll, a range of tidying and other household chores. At some stage I am hoping to do some painting ?
I do have the figures and space to play some solo games, but it just seems a bit sad anorak. So I¡¯m reading blogs, watching video, and trying to keep my wargaming mojo going.
Over the weekend, I did some markers for wounded leaders that will be usable for Sharp Practice and Chain of Command, I based up some sections of railway I cut from OO track, and added ballast. And I have all the sections cut to do a level crossing, some culverts, and I have a cobble roller, air-dry clay and some MDF cut t to create cobbled road sections. Some of those I will cut tram tracks¡¯ into the clay as well, so I can use my Tram model.
So essentially, a lot of hobby stuff, apart from actually painting figures or playing games.
