A Second Barnful Of Lard

 

Hi everyone,

Now that we are in 2025, it is time to start thinking about A Second Barnful of Lard. This event will be held on Saturday 7th June at Lincombe Barn, Overndale Road, Downend, BS16 2RW.
?
Following on from last year's first Lardy event for the club, this will follow the same format as every other Lardy day, i.e. hosted games with everything provided, but if you want to use your own dice, tokens, markers and tape measures that is fine.
?
We are hoping for 8 games this year, which means we will have room for up to 32 players. We already have four or five games planned and I expect that we will have more before long, so I'm trying to get players to come along and join the fun.
?
If you are interested in coming along to play let me know in the comments below. The day will cost ?10 per person.

Hi Carole, I would have loved to come, and possibly have brought a game, but you’ve picked the same day as OML at Evesham, which is a shame.

Yes, I only found that out because Matt Slade said he couldn't come. The date was booked last year, so it is too late to change it.

Please note that because of the clash with OML and another Lardy event in Bristol in May, I have regretfully had to scrap this event. Hopefully, the club will try and run in in 2026.
