TinyTrak 4 locked up

Hi
I have a Tiny Trak That works correctly but every month or so it locks up.

When it locks up the yellow led is on steady, which would indicate that the squelch was open.

But it is not open, in fact i disconnect the radio from the Tiny Trak and the led stays on no change.

In this mode it will not transmit any data, and the red led is off.

I have to power cycle the Tiny Trak to reset it and then it works fine for a month or so.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Yes, the yellow LED indicates the TT "thinks" there is a signal.
What are you using for CDMODE?
? ?CD?? ?CD_inverted?? Something else?
I assume you are not using Tones, but maybe.
? Tones is the most reliable (in most situations).

The answer to CDMODE will help provide the next troubleshooting step(s).
If it us a pin state, you may want to measure the voltage on that pin while the yellow LED is on.

I see this every few months with a set of 4 MT44B units I look after in Syndey. Power cycle is the fix. We have investigated it with Allen over several years but have never found the cause. We now use a CN010A digital time switch to cycle the power ever day around 2AM local time.
