/g/TinyTrak/message/2122
<div>Good morning:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I think this is my second posting about this question. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have a TinyTrak4 and would like to set it up as a portable Digipeater to cover some of our public service events.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>This would be a digipeater operating on the standard 144.390 mHz frequency digipeating signals from event units. My hope is to have the portable digipeater set up somewhere to get weaker signals from units digipeated so local Igates to get the positions on aprs.fi.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have the TT4, a radio, PS, and antennas. All I need is the configuration for the TT4.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Searching YouTube and the rest of the Internet I have to been able to come up with anything, not even generic digipeater settings that I could experiment with.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Any help appreciated, thank you.</div>

<div>If by "newer TT4" you mean 1284 chip, the answer would be "not as is".</div>
<div>Most likely Byon could recompile it - if he has the code. But the TT4 already has all that code in the Alpha firmware.</div>
<div>All you would need to do is disable the portions of the code that you do not want to use (DIGI, display, ...).</div>
<div> It would still have receive capability, but the information would go no where.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Just wondering - is there some reason you don't want to use the Alpha Version?</div>
