Sorry to hear about the loss of one of your fur babies Bea.
?
The news about Rick....while wasn't terrible.....?Wasn't what we wanted to hear.?
Apparently they saw something that wasn't there in previous scans.? But the Dr isn't sure if it is scar tissue or the cancer since it is right on the incision from when they took out his colon.
They are going to schedule him for a biopsy in the next few weeks.? He had additional lab work today and the results look ok to me but then I am not sure what he (the Dr) is looking for
Soooo.....could be worse....could be better.

He is disappointed his back surgery??is going to have to wait.? He was really looking forward to being able to have that done soon.
He has to walk with a cane due to his back and hip pain.? He has arthritis in his spine.
He wants so bad to get rid of the cane.

OMG!!? His patience is in the negative column.? He has none.
When we had to wait in between appt on chemo day, all he did was bitch about the waiting.??He would have labs?done....then we would see the Dr?and if everything was a go, he would order the chemo......which would then be made up at the pharmacy.? So....you had to wait for it to be made and brought to the floor where they do the infusions.....usually took 30-40 min....
And he complained about waiting every time.
He has no patience at all....
The biopsy is going to be done at a hospital affiliated with Dana Farber so they will call us with an appt.? Dr said probably tomorrow....
Probably.....the key word....
If they don't call tomorrow I am going to hear him bitch about it all weekend!

The news about Rick....while wasn't terrible.....?Wasn't what we wanted to hear.?
Apparently they saw something that wasn't there in previous scans.? But the Dr isn't sure if it is scar tissue or the cancer since it is right on the incision from when they took out his colon.
They are going to schedule him for a biopsy in the next few weeks.? He had additional lab work today and the results look ok to me but then I am not sure what he (the Dr) is looking for
Soooo.....could be worse....could be better.

When we had to wait in between appt on chemo day, all he did was bitch about the waiting.??He would have labs?done....then we would see the Dr?and if everything was a go, he would order the chemo......which would then be made up at the pharmacy.? So....you had to wait for it to be made and brought to the floor where they do the infusions.....usually took 30-40 min....
And he complained about waiting every time.
He has no patience at all....
The biopsy is going to be done at a hospital affiliated with Dana Farber so they will call us with an appt.? Dr said probably tomorrow....

If they don't call tomorrow I am going to hear him bitch about it all weekend!

The news about Rick....while wasn't terrible.....?Wasn't what we wanted to hear.?
Apparently they saw something that wasn't there in previous scans.? But the Dr isn't sure if it is scar tissue or the cancer since it is right on the incision from when they took out his colon.
They are going to schedule him for a biopsy in the next few weeks.? He had additional lab work today and the results look ok to me but then I am not sure what he (the Dr) is looking for
Soooo.....could be worse....could be better.
