I bought a cake but wasn't a typical birthday cake. It was a blueberry lemon loaf from Costco. I suspect that's what made me sick. Mariah ( grand daughter ) came when she was off work at 7? and brought me a plant and a card and a framed picture of her graduation. She is now an RN. That makes 2 down and 2 to go. ..lol?

Now it is?all computerized but back then....
It was a paper and pencil?test?  And I had to wait like 3-4 months for the results.
The exam was like 3 months after graduation from college.
I was able to work as a graduate nurse....
No difference in what I could do but they could pay me less until I passed my boards.
Then I had to renew my license every year....
Or maybe it was every 2 yrs....I forget.....

We have quite a few family antiques from around 1900.
Ashley has my hope chest that was my great grandmothers?
Kaylee will get it next when they get a bigger place.
I have part of another great grandmothers China set and silver

Now that my mom is gone, I have?several pieces?of jewelry that has been handed down over several generations (as well as her things)
(Ashley has my moms original engagement ring....my mom gave it to her when she got engaged)
I can't wear her rings  .? My mom was petite with a size 6/7 ring.? I have always had big hands....my ring size is a 9/10 And we have my grandfathers purple heart (he was shot in the arm in WWII)

My brother is not sentimental at all so I got everything.
He would have thrown it away.

Yes they need to write an exam but from what I understand they know by days end or very soon after.
Yes same here they can work as an RN but not get paid an RNs wage until they have passed.
Mariah was saying the RN' s do the same as the RPN's?. She is hoping to go home to home or hospice. That's where her heart is and not up on the floors.

Yes same here they can work as an RN but not get paid an RNs wage until they have passed.
Mariah was saying the RN' s do the same as the RPN's?. She is hoping to go home to home or hospice. That's where her heart is and not up on the floors.

I have my great grandma's cedar chest.? It was 85 years old when I was 15.? It will go to my first biological great grand daughter.? That is the tradition.

I have a few pieces of furniture here that I will be taking with me wherever I go and I will have it as long as I am alive.

I even have a little book stand that my great grandpa?built.? I have my great aunts first dining room table, no chairs, from when she got?married.? I have an antique?dresser that?was my grandma and grandpas.? I am taking all of it when mom is gone because my brothers won't care.? Me, on the other hand, I am very sentimental when it comes to these things.?

From what? understand some program paid for her schooling or part of it and she in return needs to work for them for a set period of time. ?Shes fine with that, she has her degree at no cost and is guaranteed work at the usual RN rate of pay. Its win win for her.
