Its cool and breezy with rain on and off. Its around 50 but damp. Sounds like the furnace is still on as well.
No plans today other than sitting here on PC or napping or playing ipad games.........lol
They have my?body half painted. My one arm, my trunk to my neck and to my crotch and around my back.....? me wonder what they do to you when your out cold. ?

Expecting a Nor'Easter tomorrow with lots of rain....and very high winds....could be up to 50 mph here along the coast

Ended up?not walking....it was cold down there....

We'll be fine but not so sure about?right along the coast.? These are the storms that cause lots of coastal damage.
Lynch Park (where I walk) has had lots of damage over the years due to this kind of storm.
Some of the walkway along the seawall is still not repaired from a couple years ago
I do love the wild waves though in a storm like this.? I have some awesome pictures and videos of the waves crashing up over the sea wall.
?
It was 58° downstairs this morning when I went down to make coffee (no windows open  ) I put the heat on for like 10 min to get the chill out.
I did sleep with my bedroom window open last night but shut it this morning
?
End of May and I have been wearing long sleeves for the past few days.
Still haven't put socks back on (I hate socks) but am wearing jeans and long sleeve tops

Yea,
I just hope the Nor’Easter doesn’t cause too much damage when it hits. ?I hate severe storms like that. ?Never experienced one when we lived up in Maine but know about them. ? ?We had a lot of chilly days there but managed to survive it all. ?I remember the house we lived in as always been soooo cold. ?I was never warm enough to be totally without a sweater handy. ?Brr. You know I don’t like winter or being frozen so the three year in Maine was a bit much for this Texas gal.

Wednesday night was just awful, I ended up waking hubby up asking if I should go to emerge. I was in awful shape but he talked me down and got me to relax and convinced me to take a pain pill. That finally knocked me out totally. I took another Thursday morning and literally slept all day in the chair with a heating pad. He woke me up twice to eat some soup. They somehow hurt my ribs? and my back and my lungs were so sore.
I went to bed at 7 ish last night and slept right through to 5 am, thinking I will take another pill this morning and hopefully tomorrow I am good.
He took all the bandages off yesterday except for a few covering the incisions. I haven't seen anything yet but he said minimal bruising this time but can see they took 3 nodes.
I swear they did a rain dance on my chest.......?

I forgot to take my hangars down and one of them flew away.
Well not away....
The hook came right out of the?wood and it fell into the front garden.
Easily saved and Shawn can put a new hook when he gets home from work.
?
A couple of my bigger plants (a couple smaller trees) on the porch also tipped over?
?
I couldn't sleep with my bedroom window open last night....the wind was blowing the rain against the back of the house....
Could barely even see out the window.
So I had to plug in and use my window A/C last night
?
When I got up this morning it was only 58° in the house so I did put the heat on.....
It is only 45° out right now.
I don't think we are going to see the sun until Monday
?
I'll find out if there was any damage at the park the next time I go....
Maybe later if the rain holds off.
But the tides weren't going to be super high but who knows what the wind did.
There were a lot of smaller branches all over the roads when I brought Shawn to work.

You shouldn't hold off taking pain pills....it takes longer for them to work and relieve the pain.
Take one when the pain starts....
Don't wait until it is unbearable.
And if you take it with a couple Tylenol....it will work even better
?
Not sure why your lungs hurt.....
Make sure you move though....
Pneumonia can easily set in after surgery if you don't move.

I am so sorry to hear you are in so much pain but sure do hope it eases up now quickly and you get to feeling so much better. ? ?Any idea of when you are going to start radiation? ? ?I sure hope it won’t be too stressful for you and that you will get the diagnosis ‘CANCER FREE’ and truly not have to worry about this ever again. ? I know a lady who had her boobs removed due to cancer and she’s so happy she did it. ? Another lost one breast to cancer and didn’t do reconstruction on that side for many years but finally did and she’s now so happy she did it. ? ?I pray that you won’t have to do anything drastic. ? ?Like you, I am just vain enough that I would do the reconstruction if I ever have to have a total mastectomy. ?Or even a partial. ? I just don’t want to leave this world and look ‘odd.’ ? ? Anyway, wishing you the best and sure hope you will be cancer free always now.

Hoping no real damage anywhere, Donna. ? ?That’s the problem with a lot of wind. ? ?Shingles off houses and small branches (luckily no big ones) down. ? ?I much prefer rain galore to a high wind. ??
Hope not much damage, if any, at the park but wouldn’t be surprised if there are branches down there as well. ? ?Probably will be though. ? ?Parks tend to be fairly open areas and being right on the coast… well, hard to avoid some damage. ? ?

I just hope the Nor’Easter doesn’t cause too much damage when it hits. ?I hate severe storms like that. ?Never experienced one when we lived up in Maine but know about them. ? ?We had a lot of chilly days there but managed to survive it all. ?I remember the house we lived in as always been soooo cold. ?I was never warm enough to be totally without a sweater handy. ?Brr. You know I don’t like winter or being frozen so the three year in Maine was a bit much for this Texas gal.

It was 58° downstairs this morning when I went down to make coffee (no windows open

Thanks Diana my chest and lungs / back feel pretty good this morning. I have been laying back in the chair with the heating pad and I think its finally better. I will take it easy with lifting / stretching still tho.
I believe I can finally have a shower today and that will feel wonderful. I still have bandaids on and not sure they are to come off now or not.
The reports are in and the cancer did not go to the nodes , last time radiation started once I was healed up I believe. I see the surgeon June 3rd and probably make arrangements then. ?

I know a lady who had her boobs removed due to cancer and she’s so happy she did it. ? I think they did a rain dance on me while I was out. Possible because I wouldn't breathe they did CPR. They stayed right at my head telling me to breathe and they also kept putting oxygen on me. I have a very hard time waking up once put out, my system is a virgin to this stuff. I will ask the surgeon but not sure if he will know what went on.
I was trying not to take anything for pain because I read so much about becoming addicted but I finally gave in. They are only 1 mg but knock me out for a good 12 hours.
Its possible my bladder was paralyzed because I didn't pee much after coming home and I think that was the pain. Thankfully that's working right once again.

You shouldn't hold off taking pain pills....it takes longer for them to work and relieve the pain.
Take one when the pain starts....
Don't wait until it is unbearable.
And if you take it with a couple Tylenol....it will work even better

Not sure why your lungs hurt.....
Make sure you move though....
Pneumonia can easily set in after surgery if you don't move.

Most of Lynch Park is like a penninsula.? Surrounded by the open ocean, a harbor and a cove
It is weird though.
You would think the trees up on the?hill would go during a storm....they are very old....
But they stand strong and other trees are affected

When I had my knee done, I took oxy?for weeks and never got addicted.
I took them as prescribed right after surgery and then for?several weeks when I went for my PT

I am so happy you don’t have cancer in the nodes. ? ?THAT is GREAT news! ? Radiation is one thing and hopefully you won’t have to goo through it for a long period of time. ? I will keep my fingers crossed on this. ? ?Definitely be careful lifting things. ? ?I would think you could shower now. ? They may have done a rain dance on you. ? If you had problems breathing, then they may have done CPR on you. ? I would think your chest is sore from that. ? ?It’s difficult to do surgery on you I would imagine since you have breathing issues. ?I’m surprised they didn’t do ?a breathing tube or something.
I think you would have been ok to take the pain meds. ? They don’t give you enough to make you addicted but it does help the pain level. ? ?Usually, when I have pain meds, I take them for 3 days max and then try not to take any more. ? ?After three days or so, the pain should be tolerable and you can knock it out with Aleve or whatever. ? I found, when I had my shoulder surgery, that Aleve wiped out my pain completely. ? ?I was thrilled. ? ? ?Anesthesia does mess with us and you are probably right about it messing with your bladder. ? I was trying not to take anything for pain because I read so much about becoming addicted but I finally gave in. They are only 1 mg but knock me out for a good 12 hours.
Its possible my bladder was paralyzed because I didn't pee much after coming home and I think that was the pain. Thankfully that's working right once again.

You shouldn't hold off taking pain pills....it takes longer for them to work and relieve the pain.
Take one when the pain starts....
Don't wait until it is unbearable.
And if you take it with a couple Tylenol....it will work even better

Not sure why your lungs hurt.....
Make sure you move though....
Pneumonia can easily set in after surgery if you don't move.

Wednesday night was just awful, I ended up waking hubby up asking if I should go to emerge. I was in awful shape but he talked me down and got me to relax and convinced me to take a pain pill. That finally knocked me out totally. I took another Thursday morning and literally slept all day in the chair with a heating pad. He woke me up twice to eat some soup. They somehow hurt my ribs? and my back and my lungs were so sore.
I went to bed at 7 ish last night and slept right through to 5 am, thinking I will take another pill this morning and hopefully tomorrow I am good.
He took all the bandages off yesterday except for a few covering the incisions. I haven't seen anything yet but he said minimal bruising this time but can see they took 3 nodes.
I swear they did a rain dance on my chest.......?
