I’m still awake and not sure if I can sleep again as yet. I would love to sleep for awhile and then get up, and get some things done I need to do. Plus want to cook some chicken today so Chris will have something nice to eat when he gets home later today/this evening.

Yes, the crowds for the protest were magnificent. I wonder if the protests will do some good. Sure hope they are hitting home. Hopefully, it will wake up some of the Republicans as they are supposed to represent the American people and do what’s right for us (same for Democrats). Yet they only seem to care about bowing down to T (the Republicans). I’ve never gone to a protest but do support them. We need to continue the protests and hopefully the crowds will become larger and larger as we go along. As long as they are peaceful and we don’t ever see another Jan 6th! Don’t think we will.

T had better not mess with our SS or Medicare. DOGE is going to continue even if Musk returns to his private enterprises from what I’ve read�� He’s not going away and will still have a hand in DOGE. Crap.

it’s like they want to start America all over again. They have destroyed agencies to the point where they are now non existent or have little to no voice in anything. Have you looked at the list? My goodness, it’s scary. They are taking us back to a much earlier time in history and we can’t afford to go back like they want. It will make us vulnerable and weak. Lord have mercy on us. We are isolating ourselves or at least that is what T wants. Oh gee, this is a terrible time for us all. What more can I say at this point?

Stand strong. Maybe this madman can be stopped somehow. Hopefully, we’ll find a way.

I have been awake since about 3:30 but didn't get out of bed until 4:15 or so.

My alarm goes off at 5 on days Shawn works.

I like to relax, check emails, have coffee and shower before we leave at 6:40.

I hope Chris gets a store near you.

Did you see the incredible turnouts for the protests yesterday??

I didn't realize Beverly was having one until after the fact or I would have been there.

So proud of Boston for having such a HUGE turnout.

If it were 30 yrs ago....I probably would have been there.

Got up at 4:07 this morning to wake Chris up so he could get ready to head back up to Austin for work but found he was already awake so took the Bears out for a few minutes. Kinda chilly out there at 45º so didn’t stay out more than 5 mins with them. Came in and closed the bedroom door so they would wander the house and waited for Chris to come and tell me he was leaving. He thought I had gone back to sleep so he left and didn’t say anything. I’m still up and now it’s almost 7 am and I am really ready to go back to sleep for just a bit. I’ll have to get up really early tomorrow morning as well. He will want to head up to Austin again as his boss returns tomorrow. I am hoping Matt knows where Chris will be when he gets his own store which should be happening quite soon now. Whether he will share the info with Chris yet or not, I don’t know. I am praying it’s not in Los Angeles. That’s the one place he doesn’t ever need to be in again. I hope it’s here in Texas and not too far from us. Maybe even down this way which would be nice as he could continue to live with us and maybe save some money in the long run. It’s a wait and see situation right now.

What are you doing up so early???? Not that I’m surprised. Haha

I love the area I live. There is so much history around here.

Not all good ....like the Salem witch Trials

But so much history.

There is a house not even 2 minutes from me....basically right across the main road from the early 1600's

Wow! That’s lovely. I’d have to have a lot of money if I were to live there. Would need to purchase more furniture and hire maids and more��. It’s a lovely house. Bet one could get lost in such a place as it’s so big!

I remember hearing about the Gold Coast so long ago and don’t think I’ve heard it again since. You live in such an interesting area, Donna. I know where you walk is so beautiful and that you really love living right where you are. That is wonderful.

The heating bill wouldn't matter and I certainly would not be cleaning it myself

This one was for sale in Beverly for awhile and I always joked I would buy it when I won Megabucks and make it into a family compound.
