Just practiced not deep seated

On Facebook this morning:

There's nothing deep-seated. It's just continually practised. Its not deep-seated. It's just active. And usually you want to say the reason its active is because its deep-seated and we say no, the reason its active is because you keep bringing it forward. It's not deep-seated. The deep-seated stuff would have no impact on your life at all of you weren't bringing it forward and keeping it active now. Nothing is deep-seated in the way that you mean it.?
Good to know.?
"I've got this deep seated belief..." I mean, " I've got a belief that doesn't serve me that I keep talking about and I keep bringing it forward into my now."
Its not deep-seated, its just active. And why is it active? Because I keep saying it. I keep talking about it. I keep it active by my attention to it. Period. Very simple isn't it??

I'm glad you posted this, Connee.? Many folks I know who have a bit of knowledge?about Abraham say this very thing as a criticism.....that Abe's techniques are like band aids, and don't really heal broken bones or disease?at a deep level.? I would love to hear opinions, if you feel so inspired.

Thanks,
Marsha

their criticisms couldn't be more wrong

there is a belief in western medicine and psychotherapy that recovery from anything bad must be a huge backbreaking struggle that sucks all the life out of you, so that any therapy that isn't based on struggle is criticized because "no pain no gain" so such a therapy in their mind cannot be real.

abraham is absolutely congruent with ancient wisdom, it's absolutely congruent with last century metaphysics such as New Thought Denominations such as the Science of Mind that I am involved with that get very deep healings of both medical and mental health conditions, and completely congruent with the latest science-based stuff such as Joe Dispenza's research on how when we move into he altered state, we connect with the field of all possibilities, which is completely congruent with the latest quantum physics, which is completely congruent with the deepest healing techniques that get complete recovery from the nastiest diseases.??

It's all coming together in a glorious nexus and Abraham's point of view is right at the focus of that, never missing a beat.

I've been deep into the abraham material for many years and in all that time I've never heard Esther hit a wrong note, which is remarkable

I just wrote an article for a therapy professional journal and I wrote about some of these insights and this is what I said: (this excerpt is a small part of a 7-page article, if anybody here wants to read the full article, email me offlist at charlieach@... and I'll send you the full text)? This article is all about the miraculous healings that happen when we come into what Abraham calls the vortex but which in this paper I'm calling it by the scientific name, which is "the field of all possibilities.".??

And I'm saying in this paper, that like Abraham says, it isn't even hard, when you know how.

The core concept in this paper is the last sentence, which is

From a quantum perspective, we just switched them from a state where progress forward seemed a dim possibility, to a state where recovery from the problem is a natural outcome.??This progress wasn’t visible when they were looking at the world through Newtonian eyes, but are now clearly visible through Quantum eyes, as they now focus on “The Field Of All Possibilities.” (Dispenza)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Excerpt from paper which will is scheduled for publication shortly "The Field Of All Possibilities")

Tunnel Vision

When someone is in fight-or-flight, they perceive the world through a sense of tunnel vision.? There’s only one option, and it’s bad for “I.”? It’s like a giant picture of the problem is pasted to their forehead so that’s all that they can see.? No solutions are visible, so pessimism and depression are built into this worldview.? The client ruminates, as the sense of problem is so immediate it seems as if doom is inevitable and there are no visible ways out.? In desperation, they become capable of committing violence, like suicide, to escape it, and sometimes they do.

Quantum Vision

In contrast, the person who is helped by the hypnotherapist has come out of fight-or-flight.? They are astounded to find themselves in a different world where there are many wonderful options that feel good.? Their sense of optimism increases markedly, they become excited about positive possibilities, and life seems good again.? The sense of doom is completely gone, and they find themselves in a world of abundant options, where just a few minutes ago, the trance of scarcity seemed like absolute reality.

The World Of All Possibilities

Fight-or-flight is a very Newtonian way of looking at the world.? There is only one possible outcome, and it’s always bad.? Suicidal clients may even be thinking of ending it all because their future seems so bleak.? It’s easy for you to see that the client is overreacting, but they can’t see that, as their depressed point of view seems so real.?

But when we get them down out of fight-or-flight, we shift them into a world where there suddenly seems to be an energy field of infinite possibilities, all of which seem perfect solutions for the problem that just a few minutes ago seemed unsolvable.? We have literally shifted them from problem consciousness into solution consciousness.? The world hasn’t changed, but we have shifted what they are looking at.

From Pain To Peace

At an NGH presentation, I once heard Jerry Kein describe the state of deep trance as “the best party you’ve ever been to.”? This to me is the perfect way to characterize “Bliss Brain.”? When we shift out of fight-or-flight, the amygdala shuts off, and the blood chemistry changes as seven neuro-transmitters and hormones come out to play, putting us into a blissful state where life is good again. (Church)

In a research setting, Joe Dispenza has measured the brainwaves when this shift occurs.? Brain waves are chaotic and out of coherence in the ruminative state of high beta, then shift into coherence as alpha/theta/delta become more active, exploding in amplitude as they shift into gamma.? The person enters “the zone” where athletes and artists exhibit high performance.? This “Bliss Brain” state is so large in magnitude that Dispenza had to get factory technicians to recalibrate the equipment to allow such large signals to be measured. (Dispenza)

Becoming Aware Of The Field Of All Possibilities

Sometimes clients entering therapeutic trance for the first time don’t want to emerge.? This is because they go into a state where the tunnel vision of fight-or-flight, where there seems to be only one very bad option, is replaced by the solution state where the stress is gone and the mind is flooded with an endless stream of possible solutions.? They literally go from a profoundly negative and unhealthy state with only one bad possibility, to a profoundly positive and healthy state which seems to contain an infinite number of good possibilities.

In other words, the solutions were always there, but the client couldn’t see them until they stepped back and got some perspective.? We call this “going meta” in NLP.? “Getting some distance” from the problem allows them to see the possibilities that were there all the time, but which were hidden underneath ruminative thoughts, putting the client back in an optimistic place again.

From a quantum perspective, we just switched them from a state where progress forward seemed a dim possibility, to a state where recovery from the problem is a natural outcome.? This progress wasn’t visible when they were looking at the world through Newtonian eyes, but are now clearly visible through Quantum eyes, as they now focus on “The Field Of All Possibilities.” (Dispenza)
