For years now, I have come across saying where people ask or pray for what
they really, really want and then toss in this part where they say
'or the highest good' or 'for the highest good'. This is currently popping
up in a book that I'm reading on prosperity. And my first thought is that
the author has a belief that 'just in case it isn't good for me to want
this' or 'be careful what you wish for' thing going on. My inner being is
screaming at me that this highest good stuff is AN OUT -- a way to justify
creation by default -- a rationalization of sorts.

I agree.

Recently, - North LA tape last August, I think, a women asked about
charity and giving to charity. Abraham said it is all in the way you
feel about it not in the action itself. That, ABE said, is why they
rarely say anything is absolutely "right" or absolutely "wrong". (Abe
didn't use the words right or wrong- I don't remember Abe every using
those terms.)It always depends on your feeling in the matter - your
intention. ABe used to use the word intention a lot and maybe should
again... I think that highest good or any other phrase is productive or
nonproductive based on how you feel about it and that is all that
matters! -

As You believe!
