[Abraham-Hicks] Re: creating past events with present vibrations

Fred, in that same scene from DS9, Sisco also explains to the prophets about linear time using a baseball game as an expample -- how we don't know the outcome (ala Yogi Berra), and that is how we en-joy the experience, pitch by pitch. I thought this a wonderful description of why we all chose to play in the time/space playground.

That pilot movie turned me on to watch the show, which until I saw it, I thought DS9 was a shoot-em-up-in-space show. It had some magnificent episodes, like "The Writer" (I think it was entitled). em

We might not be able to change the events that occurred but we are able to
change our beliefs about those events. How we respond to them in the here
and now is our choosing. If we choose to believe something and feel bad
about that event in our past, won't that lock us into that event and keep the
flow of the energy from flowing? Have you ever met someone who is positive
and upbeat, everything good just seems to happen for that person and then you
discover the various tragic moments that they lived through? How is it that
person isn't weighed down and crushed by those tragic events? Isn't it in how
they perceive those events in the present that allows the flow of source?
Somehow, they decided to pivot their thoughts about that event and moved
forward in allowing the universe to bless them with all good gifts.

'Linear time' isn't a straight line drawn between 'the now' and 'the future'. Time is the distance between the thought we toss out into the 'future', (far or near, wanted or unwanted), and how long it takes for the thought to manifest. We are pulled (straight) towards the thought by the power given to the thought. I think. LOve, Maija

So since I never know the outcome, more reason to make sure I choose in

Maija !

I see your explanation of linear time and future as absolutely inspired ! The concept of how long it takes for a thought to manifest is a clear way to point out that all our thoughts have creative potential, whether conscious or haphazard.

I appreciate the clarity you brought to a sometimes murky concept.

Hugs,

Kazlim

'Linear time' isn't a straight line drawn between 'the now' and 'the future'. Kathleen, I don't think that "I never know the outcome". I will when it comes
out. It is the thrill of participating in HOW it comes out, each miraculous
step of the way -- like a baseball game -- "it ain't over til it's over" --
and then there's the next game. So NOW is the place, because what I do now
changes the next step. If I hit a home run, or make an out, its effects the
outcoming of the game. If I stike out this at bat, I can homer the next time
up, or make a spectular game-saving play at any point. So, now is all there
is, in a never-ending series of nows.

I create freedom, joy and growth now, not in my future, always in my now.
