HI all Feng Shui knowledgeable people,
So what are the corners again? When you walk in to a room, the far right corner is Wealth? And the far left corner is Relationships? what are the other corners? I just have some table top fountains and some other bits and pieces that I am ready to place and might as well put them in power places since I'm re-doing my space. At the moment, I just put my biggest table top fountain and a candle and a few totem animal pieces in the far right hand corner, it's above my desk and above my computer monitor, but those are the only things I've set up so far. Thanks- Juls |

The corners query appears to come from the Ba-Gua system, which places a 9 section grid over the floorplan of the home, with the front entrance at the bottom of the grid. The nine sections are as follows: | 1 | 2 | 3 | --------------- | 4 | 5 | 6 | --------------- | 7 | 8 | 9 | 1 = Wealth/abundance 2 = Fame, Self Expression 3 = Relationships, Marriage 4 = Family, Ancestors, Heritage 5 = Health, Chi (energy) 6 = Offspring, children, projects 7 = Inner Knowledge, self-realization 8 = Career Path in life 9 = Helpful People, Angels Your doorway should align with 7, 8, or 9. Water is said to symbolize money, creativity and inspiration, so in order to stimulate whatever area you wish, that is where you place your tabletop waterfall. You can also stimulate an area by hanging a crystal. You can also use the grid for any room or space, such as a desk, as well. I enjoy this particular book, "Sacred Spaces" because it is written in an easy to comprehend manner while drawing from numerous schools of thought. The section on Feng Shui is about 15 pages long, but she covers the basics of Feng Shui from several different cultural perspectives, and includes intuitive Feng Shui as well. I'm not sure how this will mesh with ABE stuff, but it seems to me that if you believe it, then the act of believing and thinking about it ought to change your vibration, which is what ABE teaches. . . so it fits together in my frame of reference. Blessings of Abundance to all, Janelle |

I know someone already wrote what the different areas of the room represent, but thought you may be interested in having a copy of the Ba Gua diagram, which is essentially the same thing. I found a copy of it at: Love & Blessings, Amy
