A family Christmas Eve questioni

开云体育

Happiest of seasons to all of you!

Marsha, my go-to is to always remember that if what I’m feeling does not feel good, then I’m forgetting all that I am and my greater Spirit perspective. ? Emotions are merely indicators of what we’re thinking and the meaning we are putting onto something, right? What meaning were you putting onto their arguing??

Since it didn’t feel good, and even seems to still be lingering, it seems to be coming from the smaller aspect of who you are rather than your Whole Spirit perspective. So, hmmm, what are some possibilities for how Spirit might be not only perceiving this, but experiencing it (since we are each Spirit experiencing itself in human form)??

Here are some ideas that come to me as I breathe, relax and expand into it:

Spirit “speaking” here:
“What fun to be in the midst of the creative, developmental chaos of being a teenager! This stage of seeming chaos and contrast is part of my growth and expansion! I’m sorting it out.”

Try this: This family’s souls came together into life intentionally. I wonder what we will each be learning through all of this carnival of life. This moment in time is only a part of a much bigger picture/movie playing out. I love a good drama! Such rich, diverse characters! I think Source likes playing in it, too! Contrast is a necessary part of the creative process, like the messy, artistic process of molding clay.?

I like thinking about what these beautiful souls will be like in their twenties and beyond. Surely this is just a phase, and it is not all that they are. There are times when they are not arguing, too. (List positive aspects.)

Each moment is a new opportunity for you to perceive and create newly and to be more and more of your whole, greater Spirit-Self. Maybe focus just on what opportunity there is in this for YOU, and have fun with it!

Merrily we roll along,
Ann Ide

Hi, Dear Kindred Spirits,

I am so glad to have this wonderful group I can look to in questionable times; and this is one.

Last night, I spent Christmas Eve with my daughter, her husband, and 2 grandsons; 12 and 14.

Their family argued so much!? It got worse as the evening progressed.? I did the best I could to have a good time and share happily with all.? But, right in the middle of singing a Christmas Carol, my daughter got up to admonish her son, a bit argument?ensued (which I may have participated in because I didn't like my daughter chastising her son in the middle of a carol.? Then, a bit of their yelling ensued; resulting in my daughter stomping to her bedroom and refusing to come out.? That's how the evening ended.

I feel so sorry for their family!? What can I do to make the situation better?? Or, rather, what thoughts can I have which would help the situation the most!

Thanks for any words of Abe wisdom you can give me.

Thank you,?
Marsha
