Oh, yes. Those are good ones, Barbara! I often find that it's the path of least resistance to vaguely blend with what others are saying so that I don’t sound like I’m disagreeing or resisting them, while at the same time I’ll confirm my own beliefs in my own
thoughts. I might say to myself, “That might be your way of thinking about it/your fear-based thinking, etc, but no thank you. I choose to create differently/everything works out for me, …” and so on.?
Thanks for reminding me! I think it will still be fun to hear more of what others do, too.
Oh, and I’m sorry I hastily misspelled your name Connee!
Always grateful for these posts,

? I like Esther and Jerry’s “Things are always working out for me.” It’s a mantra I’ve used for years. In this case, it would be a reminder to myself that I’m creating my own reality. And sometimes I just smile on the inside.?
Reminds me of post-it notes I bought many years ago that say:?
“I’m out of touch with reality and I don’t miss it a bit!” Luckily I’m out of touch with others’ reality for me.?
This answered so many askings for me. Thank you, Marsha and Connee, for this and your continued service to our community!

Hi everyone!
I really like what Abraham had to say in these excerpts Connie and Marsha shared. Thank you!
However, I don’t feel like the 1st person’s question was actually answered. To me, they asked how to respond to people who only think inside the box.?
Sometimes, I respond with ,”That’s one way of thinking about it/one possibility.” or “I appreciate your perspective and concern. I’ll think about it.” (even though I probably won’t! lol)
Do any of you have other ideas or ways to respond that work for you?
Enjoy the gifts of this day,
