I do not think so. I think was smaller...my memory is fuzzy ...been too long....There is a size in between the 3.5mm ( 1/8 inch) and the 1/4 inch IIRC 3/16 and there is/was one larger than 1/4 inch

If I'm not misunderstang the discussion... Possibly you have what's referred to as a "PL310," which is common in more recent professional audio patch bays. They are TRS for Tip, Ring, Sleeve. At

Doesn¡¯t fit in what sense? Is the center shaft too big to fit a 1/4¡± jack? The rest look very handy for working on the earphone jacks of transistor radios.

Thanks, Is Bell System "phone jack" not the same as 1/4"? The drive marked headphone jack does not fit Bell System "phone jack". -- John

the Head phone jack items are for the thin, threaded trim rings( nuts)? that were used as nuts on 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 inch headphone phone jacks. these were prevalent before they started using thin
