Tektronix 145 PAL test signal generator - service manual needed

Hello everyone

Does anyone have a scan of a Tektronix 145 PAL signal generator schematic and/or service manual?

It was picked from a "free" pile and the plan is to give it a second life if it's not an unobtanium part and if it turns out economically unviable we'll part it out.

Symptoms are low voltages and a scorchingly hot transistor on the power supply board.

Thanks
Luca

There is a original on epay for $50.

I see... with international shipping this would be around 70-80€ shipped.

Frankly, I don't want to spend that much only to find out it can't be repaired anyway. It was sort of trash picked and two of the front knobs already crumbled due to brittle plastics so it's not in the nicest of conditions

I have the manual. I could try to scan it within the next few days and post back when it's done.

Hello H?kan

That would be very nice... maybe the Tek Wiki and other community members would also be happy to have it on file?

Take your time though, it's not urgent.

Thank you for the super fast service! If we manage to find the fault I'll update the thread.

Anything against uploading it to archive.org or the TekWiki?

Off course not. I'd prefer TekWiki.

How about BAMA too. I usually look for instruction books there first.

I added it to the TekWiki:

Someone else can add it to BAMA... for Tek stuff I usually go directly to the Wiki
