tek 577 non linear behavior in both vertical and horizontal deflection amplifiers
Dear all, I have been struggling to fix a Tek 577 curve tracer for some time and I have posted other question related to this project but I decided to create a new topic with this question since it

Re: 2445B "add" illuminated, no trace.
You may want to hold off on calibrating the scope until you have the final resistors mounted. All the firmware-controlled voltages refer back to the DAC's reference, which is largely these resistors.

Re: 7633 psi help, +130v supply
Ah, I bet if you looked at waveform #1 and waveform #2 at the same time, the large dip in the waveform would match the smaller dip. The amount of ripple on waveform #1 is excessive.? I'd suspect one

Re: 7633 psi help, +130v supply
Interleaved. Figured.? Not too many places have 50Hz and 110/120.? Japan has 100 V, but 60 Hz.? Saint Martin has 120, 60 Hz on the Dutch side, and 220 50Hz on the French side.? Go figure. I'd be

Re: 7633 psi help, +130v supply
That small 100 Hz dip is interesting. Assuming you live in 50 Hz land, that suggests it's coming from the power supply. The theory suggests that the drain on the +50 bulk supply is large enough to

Re: Rehab of 5113
Dave, You don't need to be a codger. The prodigally challenged come in all ages! To avoid the $20, I'll spend days looking in the Island of Misfit Projects (a.k.a. my box of junk in the basement). I

If you like, I can upload the files to the relevant place on tekwiki. Regards, Jared.

Git rid of those so called surface mount electrolytics.? Haven't seen any that didn't leak.? I've had more damaged HAM radio gear because of them.? I don't know if someone else has commented, but I

Re: Rehab of 5113
Hi Paul, Yes, it is a mundane little panel mount button - thus my consternation at the idea of spending $20 on it. But I think I'm becoming an old codger (becoming!? they all laughed out loud). $20

Re: Rehab of 5113
That's just a mundane panel mount pushbutton, no? (aside: oh look -- more model differences/evolution... Mine is just a pushbutton, but I don't have a 5113 specifically so do a quick image search...

That's what TekWiki is so good for. The other day, I placed Enrique's documents under the "Manuals" heading of the 7603 article, here: https://w140.com/tekwiki/wiki/7603 Easily found by Googling

Unfortunately I have agree. I couldn¡¯t find them easily either. That¡¯s why Enrique very kindly sent them to me privately. It¡¯s not the 7603 folder, it¡¯s this one:

Re: 2445B "add" illuminated, no trace.
Rats, I didn't notice :( Oh well, I can re-order at some point, chances are I'll re-cap the power supply on the 2445 which will be a separate Mouser order so I can get low tempco resistors & swap,

I'm struggling a bit to remain polite as this comment has made me really quite cross. The album has a clear title, the photos have descriptions and comments and all you think worthy of comment is that

Re: 2445B "add" illuminated, no trace.
I don't know whether you noticed, but note that a couple of the resistors in the DAC reference are low TC (R2011-R2013?). IDK whether that's really warranted, given that the scope only has +- 2%

Paul, Yes, PR input is always supposed to be HI through R742. I may map the adapter board just to see what pins go where which should make the process of determining whether an 'S73 would be
