May not be related but I had a lot of trouble with the GQ-4x4 and my 2467B when replacing the Dallas chip. I went with the GQ since I watched a YouTube vid where someone used one successfully with a Tek scope. I wrote to GQ support and the suspected a defective programmer and wanted me to send it in. I returned it to Amazon, didn't want to waste weeks. I ended up buying an XGECU T48 and it worked fine.
