I used 1/2" -? ?491-8D.? The metal shroud is part of the 491 fitting.? Definitely review the EAA? video on hose fabrication.I bought my oil cooler from Vans aircraft.? It was less expensive

Thanks all! Looking at Aeroquip 303 hoses and 491 fittings. But what size? 1/2"? 38"? 1/4"?
Should I add the metal shroud to the hose OR must I buy hose with shroud manufactured on it?
