Advice for Star Party Trip

Hey all,
I'm going to my first overnight star party in WV (The Almost Heaven Star Party, ) at the end of the summer.
Luna (age 9) also indicated that she wants to go on the adventure, and I had to play it cool and not act too excited (I'm thrilled she's coming along).
Beyond the basics of a tent, tarps, and warm clothes, do you all have any tips or things you wish you had thought of when going to a camp over star party??
Cross posting to the SAS board, so apologies to the dual members in advance.

Lots of snacks, mylar survival blankets in case it gets really cold and windy, bear resistant food storage¡ªthey can break into cars, heavy-duty bug repellant, flip flops or water shoes to wear in shower

Laurie,
I'm definitely not going to skimp on the bug spray! Water shoes/sandals for the shower are a good tip.?
Mark - I'm going to try one of those Coleman darkroom tents that are supposed to block the light (we'll see) and I very much like the idea of borrowing a solar power pack.

Yes, rain is one of my biggest worries.?
I bought a Coleman DarkRoom Tent, and even though it's new, I'll be sealing all the seams not covered by the rain fly.?
