Planewave on YouTube

CDK 1000.
Note what scope they¡¯re actually viewing through. (Or is it some sort of viewing interface?)
How much is in the treasury again?
Mark

Mark. Thanks for the video! This looks like an ideal place for you, I, and the girls to visit for a month, maybe more.? Their mountain trail map isn't so hot, but nearby Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the best ski mountain I've experienced - you'll love it - and we can spend the nights at Snow King observatory. Ski by day, 1 meter Planewave by night - whatcha think?

?

Jerry

Mark:
That scope is a bargain for what you get. I¡¯m looking forward to viewing through Leslie¡¯s slightly smaller version of that scope up at Conn. I have for years said that TAAS is only one of my Powerball tickets away from a 1M scope and observatory, along with a radio telescope and solar scope.

George

Yeah, but George; Leslie¡¯s slightly smaller version has no nearby skiing by day -- that's a real limitation in my book.

Jerry

Jerry:
Back in the 50s and 60s, students at Conn could ski, sled and tray from the Shane Library down to the hill at Lyman Allyn, where hundreds of sleds would be seen speeding downhill, prior to the change in direction of RT32 and the rise of law suits.

George

I never knew that, -- that's cool!? My joke is also a frustration in that skiing and astronomy are my two biggest passions and both are inextricably fading away from the changes caused by global warming.? When I watched the Planewave video from the link Mark provided and saw the vid's author coming up to the top of a snowy mountain, I felt a shot of adrenaline that there might be a way to achieve my nirvana of both in the same place.? But alas, I perhaps am entering a delusional state... but thanks for indulging me -- I needed a quick fix? :-).
