Is anyone aware of a Tartan 27 that has tried the outboard installation into the aft cockpit locker? Like those done by James Baldwin on Alberg 30, Cape Dory 27, Pearson Triton, etc.

He has stated that a dimension of 29" is needed from the transom to the rudder post for a tilt-up motor to fit, which on the T27 appears to be very close.
