Re: Can I borrow your chain plates?
Do it! Mine looked fine but when I took off the glass I found the bolts were more than half gone. Head off a disaster. Marty Marty Levenson Registered art therapist 604-928.4033

Re: Can I borrow your chain plates?
My boat is right near chainplate express. He is the the guy I used to fix the centerboard. But my chainplates are still enclosed in fiber glass. I have been thinking of opening them up. A can of worms

Re: Can I borrow your chain plates?
Agreed that 316 is best, but 316 will still rust slightly if the imperfections aren¡¯t polished out. My problem is that the boat is in Malaysia so it¡¯s hard to find the same quality and standards

Can I borrow your chain plates?
Weird question, but if anyone has an old set I¡¯m needing them to send to a shop in Texas that will use them as a template for new ones. Airport security didn¡¯t want me flying back with my set in

Re: Window repair
The only thing I have to add is a light countersink in the holes will help the Butyl tape do its job. The DYI info from compass covers everything very well.

Re: Window repair
I think the switch on the 27-2 to windows that open was a huge improvement. I don't know if the holes are the same size. Monica Malone monicam@...
